Studio Classes

All of our In-Studio classes are drop-in classes. While our drop-in studio classes are open to all, some basic dance experience and understanding of terminology is recommended. It’s a great opportunity for experienced dancers to practice their skills, and an opportunity for new or newly returning dancers to get familiar with our studio.

We recommend new and newly returning students to enroll in our Basic Ballet Series I class to build their confidence and a solid foundation for further practice. Regardless of where you are on your dance journey — from novice to returning dancer, know that you’ll be seen and supported in our drop-in studio classes.

In-person classes are held at Preston Hollow Dance located at 3720 Walnut Hill Lane Ste #205 Dallas, TX 75229.

You are more than welcome to enroll in class at the studio but we recommend that you register for your class ahead of time. You can view and sign up for all of our classes here.

We recommend that you eat and hydrate at least one (1) hour prior to class and complete some light stretching before the start of class.

  • Cute leotard or form-fitting outfit that makes you feel confident
  • Art of VII Apparel from Janicka’s Shop for cover-ups
  • Comfortable Ballet Shoes (should feel like socks)
  • Water Bottle
  • Towel
  • Positive Attitude
  • Courage

Ballet shoes are preferred but we understand that life happens. If you don’t have the necessary shoes, we recommend that you wear socks.

Only if you want to! Otherwise, form fitting clothes that you may wear for a workout are appropriate to monitor your alignment.

The more you come to class, the quicker you’ll see results. One of my teachers once said to me: “One day off in the studio is like taking a week off” — I couldn’t agree more!

At-Home Classes

We’ll email you a link to the class 10 minutes before class starts. Please reach out if you do not receive the link 5-10 minutes before class and we’ll resend the video link.

Virtual classes take place on Zoom.

Ballet Basic Series

  • We recommend all new, or newly returning dancers begin with our Basic Ballet Series. Basic Ballet Series I is an eight (8) week signature program designed for new or returning dancers ready to start a new ballet adventure to redefine self-awareness, increase flexibility, improve stamina, and boost confidence. Dancers will learn terminology, introductory combinations, and ballet etiquette.
  • Basic Ballet Series II is a six (6) week signature program designed for dancers that have successfully completed the Ballet Series I program or desire a safe place to brush up on skills after a long break from dance. After the completion of this dynamic series, you will have the confidence to step away from the barre and move into our regular drop-in classes.
  • Basic Ballet Series III is the eight (8) week signature experience designed for more experienced dancers who have graduated from Series I and II programs ready to release the barre, learn advanced ballet combinations and concepts, and add artistry and choreography to their ballet technique.

No, you do not need prior experience! This class series is designed for beginners!

No, you have to commit to the full program. If you have to miss a week, you are able to make up a class in an alternative Basic Series class even if they are not on the same week as you.

You can repeat a ballet series twice.
