Virtual & In-Studio Classes Art of VIII

It is the season of change and we don’t just mean it metaphorically. Each of us has made huge shifts in the way we live and work during the pandemic.

One thing remains the same: We need to MOVE!

Luckily, we have two different outlets so that you can move your body – virtual or in-studio classes.

At the end of the day, our focus is on practicing the fundamentals of dance, providing you the resources to be the best version of yourself, and helping you start exactly where you are, as you are.

Learn more about your options here:

In-Studio

This is the best option if you want to get out of your house and back into the community. Enjoy the energy that the studio environment provides, knowing that you are in a safe and comfortable community with people who want to move.

Connect with your fellow dancers at our new studio space at 3720 Walnut Hill in Dallas. Class size is limited and we space ourselves apart to follow state and federal COVID guidelines. Masks are required (as are your best leggings!) and a readiness to work. You can read the full guidelines here. Learn the strength, conditioning, and focus required for Adult Dance. Get focused feedback from Janicka on posture, poise, and technique. Join us for weekly drop-in sessions or sign up for our longer series sessions like the Basic Ballet I and II classes.

Virtual LIVE Classes

Join us from the comfort of your living room or your balcony (or that home basement studio you secretly built during the pandemic to live out your ballet dreams). All you need is good WiFi and the ability to link via Zoom with Janicka Arthur. Janicka tailors the class to accommodate your home classroom space, as you work on your fundamentals and dance technique. Join Janicka as she demonstrates each movement. You are welcome to connect with your fellow dancers and ask for feedback directly from your instructor.

Each of our classes provides the artistic roadmap to grow in ballet, push past comfort zones, burn a few calories, and MOVE as the dancer you were destined to be.

Do you have more questions about in-studio or virtual classes? Reach out to us at info@artofviii.com – We look forward to dancing with you soon.
